furniture

I have been drawn to wooden chairs since college. My first purchase was a tree stump stool from the mountains of Banaue Rice Terraces. Since then, I have designed furniture for my firm, client's projects and for my own home. I have painted, stained, refurbished and reupholstered, giving old furniture a new life. I need to find and dig old photos...

Ikea Frosta is inspired from one of Alvar Aalto's designed furniture. He is the father of Modernism and paved way to the Scandinavian design we all still appreciate up until today. Ikea has discontinued this stool model of course because businesswise, products needs to be cheaper and faster to make for fast retail. New design is triangular with only 3 feet.
