Resin and Fluid Artwork Gallery.
Where it all started: Pre-COVID era, I would watch pour-painting-style videos in my feeds. I thought it was a fun and witty way to create artwork. After almost a year of thinking about it, I had a chance to try it when I was on MC for > 2 weeks. I just turned 40 and my immunity was at its lowest point from working too much. Initially, I tried to use leftover house paint and it did not work as the paint cracked. I researched more and found out about Floetrol. I bought my 1st bottle for $70 online and it worked! Used many types of oils and alcohol to experiment on fluid reactions and effects. Trial after trial until I have run out of canvas to use... then I saw our Ikea stools :D My first stool was for my daughter and the second stool is for my Sioti. Isaiah conceptualized the painting and was with me throughout the process. Fluid art surprises you at every pour! Since then, I have created over 20 artstools and made many paintings. I only stopped when I got sick again...

To my very few buyers who appreciated and actually put money on my artstools, thank you very much. I wished it could have been more profitable to supersede my day job, but I couldn't pour my time and full efforts to market and brand them. Apparently in this system where I am in, formal employment is still the reliable and feel secured for my family. I was heartbroken. I know there are a hundred ways how to exit the system and will definitely go back to do this again...

Banner photo: Psalms 23. My vision saw a person walking along a green strip unscathed while he is being surrounded by burning fields. "...I fear no evil, for Thou art with me." Mixed-media with fiber husks, hot glue, and acrylic paint on canvas. Thank you to my cousin Karen for believing and for the opportunity to paint this large (the largest painting I have done).
